Description
You did a solid self-tape. You felt it. And then… nothing.
No callback, no feedback, just silence.
Here’s the thing. The hardest part of this industry isn’t the rejection. It’s the not knowing. Was it the choice you made in that first moment? The wardrobe? Did you let them see you, or did you play the game a little too much without even realizing it?
You can’t fix what you can’t see. And most actors never get someone in their corner who can actually watch their tapes and answer those questions honestly, someone who knows their brand well enough to spot the gap between what they intended and what actually came through.
That’s the Audition Audit.
Your acting teacher looks at your choices. An audition coach looks at your setup. But neither is looking at the whole of you through the lens of who you’ve defined yourself to be in this industry, and who you want to become. That’s what we do here.
In our 90 minutes together, we go through your recent and past auditions, tape by tape, and look at:
- Whether your acting choices are reinforcing your essence or quietly working against it
- Your self-tape setup, framing, background, and wardrobe, and what the camera is saying before you speak
- The roles you’re going out for, and whether old limiting beliefs are keeping you smaller than you are
- Where you might be giving your power away, playing small, or not quite believing the role is yours to book
You come with a list of auditions. I come with over two decades of knowing how this industry works, and your brand as our compass.
This is built for actors who’ve already done their branding work. You did the work to understand who you are. This is how you make sure it’s actually showing up on camera.
You did the work to know who you are. Let’s make sure the camera sees it too.

Laice O’Malley –
It was so helpful having Jodie’s insight since she worked so closely with me to build my brand. She offered valuable feedback on what I can be doing to level up, what’s working, and what isn’t. She also helped me get out of my head and recognize that things I was second-guessing were actually landing. 10 out of 10 recommend. I’m going to be doing this with her twice a year.
Noreen Quadir –
Given how tough the industry is, I wanted to up my game and see if there was anything else I could do to strengthen my auditions. I’ve worked with Jodie for 6 years and knew her feedback would be honest and helpful, and it was. Through our session, she gave me advice on how to make my auditions more cinematic, how to let go and take more risks, how to make the scenes feel more real to me, and where to go further. I was able to see my common patterns and habits, and felt encouraged because I left knowing exactly what I need to do and what my strengths are. We put so much time and energy into our self-tapes, and getting an Audition Audit helps make sure we’re doing our best work, which is so important in this business.
